Today’s Navigator

Today was an at sea day so time didn’t mean anything. After we had got up, got washed and dressed we went down to the shop where I exchanged my medium sized T-shirt for a large. We then went up to Topsiders for breakfast after which I did a couple of laps of deck 4 and then met up with Dad in Shutters just after 10:00 when it opened to pick up our latest photos.

From Shutters we went into the other shop where we bought some Christmas Ornaments and pins.

We took those back to the room and I went up to deck 9 to get a couple of Cokes to take into the Buena Vista theatre and watch Up! in 3D while Dad went down to change some currency and then sat reading.

The film, which was great, finished around 12:40 and I went up to Pinocchio’s Pizzeria to meet Dad where we had a slice of pizza each. From there we had a quick look around the arcade

And then went down to the Duty Free shop, taking photos along the way.

The Duty Free shop wasn’t open so we went back up to the shops on deck 4 where we bought a fleece, a Mickey Christmas ornament made in Germany and a cruise postcard. Next we went back up to deck 9 for a cocktail - a Bushwhacker each.

As we were sitting drinking Tammy (TammyAlphabet) came past so we chatted with her for a while before finishing our drinks. We took our stuff back to the cabin and found some more gifts in our fish extender so I made up some bags for those that had given to me that I hadn’t given to.

We took those around the ship and then made our way down to Rockin’ Bar D for the bingo session where we spent $60 on cards but came away with nothing. The bingo was OK but a bit too over-enthusiastic for us so not something we would do again. From there we went back to the cabin to relax for a while before going down for pre-show drinks.

We had a Zombie each and then went in to the theatre for the show which tonight was the new show, Villains Tonight, which was OK but nothing special. After the show we went upstairs to relax for a while and then went down to dinner, which tonight was in Animators Palate again. For starters Dad and I both had crispy cheese ravioli, this was followed by blue cheese soup and romaine and chicory leaves salad for me, followed by Yachtsman Steak for Dad and duck breast salad for me. The food was catching up on us so we both passed on dessert but did have coffee.

After dinner we went to our usual spot in the Promenade Lounge and while we were there Tammy walked past and let us know that we would be meeting at Guest Services at 12:30 for our tour tomorrow. The clocks went forward again tonight so we were in bed at 11:25 (00:25) ready for an afternoon of touring tomorrow.

I love seeing the pics from around the ships as I have never been on them, so it is good to get an idea of what they look like.
