Tidbit in Disney History today

I thought this interesting with all the figure$ throw around, and the controversies over cost and animation, etc.

APRIL 24, 1970
The Disney animated feature film, The Aristocats is released in theaters. The film was four years in the making, budgeted at over $4 million, and includes more than 325,000 drawings made by 35 animators, with 20 main sequences having 1,125 separate scenes using 900 painted backgrounds. It is the first animated feature film completed without Walt Disney.

Wow.

Due to my age I can't really comment on Walt Disney himself, but I could wager that anything I had to say about him would be good - he seems to be a father figure to the whole world, a moral pillar and general blessing

Kinda hits home - first film without Walt.
