Does anyone know if there is a way to purchase park tickets thru ticketsatwork.com and still get the DDP? Or is this not an option? So confused

No. To get the DDP, you must purchase a package with room + tickets from Disney.

(exceptions: DVC member reservations, AP holders).

Well you could just buy the minimum number of park days ( 1 day base ticket for purchasing the DDP, 2 days if free dining) but that is counter productive.

Since Disney front loads the ticket prices the cost of doing this and buying your other days elsewhere would actually cost you more. The first 3 ticket days are the highest, even at a discount, and you'd be buying two sets of tickets per person.
