I hope this is not a hot topic like mug debates but has anyone ever bought tickets to WDW at a vendor or store front in Orlando. I remember once getting partly used park hoppers in my young and foolish pre-kid days. My reason for asking is I would like a one or two day park hopper and wondered if anyone knew a reputable place ot get them.

A stand that knowingly sells partially used park hopper tickets is, by nature, not reputable. The 4-Day park hopper is the shortest length hopper pass available legitimately. If you are only planning on visiting 2 days this visit, keep in mind that a park hopper never expires, so you could purchase a 4-day hopper, use 2 days this visit, and use the remaining two days on another visit.
Buying/selling partially used tickets is against the law (that's why you see "disclaimers" on some booth signs claiming that they only sell/buy tickets for "collectors purposes") It's a scam, and if the tickets are invalid (which is highly likely) you are out the money you spent.

If you only want a 2-day ticket, you will not be able to park hop, and if you want to park hop, you can not buy a ticket with fewer than 4 days on it.

Actually you can if you time it right. Many of the legitimate ticket wholesalers in Florida (Ticketmania, Official Ticket Center, etc) maintain storefronts where you can walk in off the street and buy legitimate brand new park tickets. Many times they will have a 3 day PH or a 3 day PHP available.

But Steve is absolutely correct about the selling of partially used tickets.

There is absolutely no way to tell how many days are left on a ticket. You could end up purchasing tickets that you were told had 2 days left on them, get to the parks, and find out that there is nothing left on them. Then you would have to buy new tickets from Disney and you would lose the money you paid for the invalid tickets. That is the same reason you should not buy tickets from any vendor that is not licensed by Disney to sell them. I heard a story on another forum a few days ago from a cast member. He said that a family bought tickets on Ebay and there were no days left on them, they were out almost $1000.00.

The only 2 day hoppers I have ever seen are for convention attendees and their families.
