I'm leaving in 2 weeks for AKL, which I have added 4 day base tix to our package. It's me, dd 6 and ds 7.

We're also going back in the beginning of November, for which I will need another set of 4 day base tix for all.

We would return again in the 1st half of 2011 ONLY if there's a good bounceback offer.

4 day base tix for all is $609 x 2 vacations in 2010 is $1218 total

If I upgrade my tix for our upcoming vacation from 4 day base tix to 8 day, no expiration than it's $1101.

Or do I pay the extra for annual passes in case we go again in the beginning of 2011? Cost for AP's would be $1,353 for all of us? Is it worth it to spend that extra $ just in case? What are the odds of getting a good bounceback, like free dining or 40% off?

I don't think you included taxes.

I'm not a fan of having tickets for future use (no expiry). What are the chances that you will want a package (dining) the next time, and then have to buy more tickets, or go without. And what if that bounce back is only for free dining, requiring you to buy new tickets.

You can upgrade your tickets at anypoint before they expire/used up. I would *think* you could buy your 4 day tickets for now, then see what the bounce back is looking at when you are there before deciding for sure. Then just upgrade them as needed.

I would probably go with either separate tickets or annual passes.

Thanks for the reply. It's such a hard decision! I have to really think about whether or not we'll go in the 1st half of next year.
