we are new to this. do we have to buy tickets for every day we stay inside the park ? we are looking at going 3 days to park and kicking back at ssr the rest. thanks new guy

Yes, you have to buy a ticket for every day that you want to enter the major parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios). You do not need to have a ticket for every day that you're at the resort.

In your scenario, you need only a 3 day ticket.

While you do need a ticket for each day you plan to enter the park, your ticketing does NOT need to match your length of stay at the resort.

For example, if you're staying 7 nights at the resort - you do NOT need to buy an 8 day ticket. You can go ahead and get the 3 day ticket you're looking for.

Just be advised though, that a 4 day ticket is only $7.50 more per person than the 3 day ticket. A 5 day ticket is only about $11 more per person. A 6 day ticket is only about $14 more per person, and a 6 day ticket is only $17 more per person.

Even if you're planning on killing time at the resorts, it may worth it to spend just a few more dollars to get into the parks just to eat dinner and/or watch an evening show.

Have a great trip!!! :)
