Hey! I'm new here and to Disney. What is the best way to purchase tickets? Is it better to order them when you book a resort or wait until closer to the trip? Thanks!

I would recommend getting your tickets along with your resort. If you do this, you are locked in at the current ticket price and don't have to worry about an increase

the package price is pretty much the only way to get them... there is no such thing as a deep discount of WDW tickets, Disney regulates this. In general the MYW (Magic your way) package prices are as good as it gets, there are ways to save a couple buck... but it is just that, a couple bucks. When they are booked with your package, if you are staying onsite, everything gets coded to your room key, which makes life a lot easier

I have used the link to Undercover Tourist.com through Mousesavers.com and have had great results. The prices include taxes and shipping and they are terrific (MAKE THAT TERRIFIC!!!) to work with because they give fabulous customer service.

Thanks everyone! I didn't realize planning a WDW vacation was going to be so confusing. It is a good thing our vacation isn't until June. I am beginning to think I should have started planning sooner.

I agree. I've used bothUndercover Tourist and Maple Leaf in the past (whichever had the best deal at the time. They were both reliable and the prices couldn't be beat. Have a great time!

In 2002 someone told me of a site to go to for tickets, and at that time they were very good, and that was Ticketmainia. I got our tickets from them, and that included taxes and shipping. We didn't have any problems at all with the tickets.
I may use them again, unless I can find another place to go to.

We just got back from WDW and we used Orlandowelcomecenter . com

They had excellent customer service and they saved us quite a bit of money. We will definately use them again on our next trip. (Hopefully that won't be too far away!)
