Tickets

Last trip we purchased 10 day Park Hoppers with water option and no-expiration.

I was dissapointed that the tickets did not come on a plastic card as they did in the past. They are just plain paper tickets which would be very east to rip, misplace, blow away, etc......

Does anyone know why Disney did away with those plastic card tickets? Or maybe there's a way to transfer the remaining days onto a plastic card??

From my understanding the plastic cards don't hold the magnetic strip very well(think credit cards) also the paper is made special- not that it won't rip ,but it is hard to do.
