I've purchased 8 day hoppers for the four of us for our Jan trip through Undercover Tourist (yes with the extra mousesaver savings gig lol). I'm renting DVC points and Disney Res told me today that I must purchase one park ticket as part of the package to add the Dining Plan.

True? Help.

No, not with a DVC reservation. The member will have to have the dining plan added for you, you can't go through Disney reservations.

Why are you bumping? The question is answered.

You need to ask the member you're renting from to add the dining plan for you. They do that through DVC Member Services, which you can't call.

You pay for it when you check in.

As Debbie said, contact the member from whom you are renting the reservation. They will have to contact Memeber Services to add the DDP for you, you'll pay for the DDP when you check-in.

With a DVC point reservation you do not need to purchase a park ticket though Disney to get the DDP like you would with a cash package.

You can call the regular dining line to make your ADRs, just tell them you have the Dining Plan and a DVC Reservation...in fact, Dining should be able to pull up the DVC reservation if you give them the reservation number.

I just like bumping. Thank you very much for your responses. We had a minor haht attack today.:worship:
