I just bought my 5 day MYW tickets via undercovertourist.com and they have a promotion where we get a 6th ticket for free - great -but, we may not get to use it unless:

A) we use it on our arrival travel day - part day at best
or
B) use it as "hopper" - use two different tickets for two different parks on same day...

Question is: can we do it - will WDW let us use two tickets in one day - a vetern mouse friend of mine says "he doesn't think so..."

Your mouse friend is correct. You cannot use two "days" on the same day. You must have the Park Hopper option to be able to visit more than one park per day. :)

you should check out orlandoattractions.com for tickets. They have better options for cheaper prices! At least they did 2 weeks ago when we ordered ours! And they ship very quickly and they're very helpful!

We got our tickets there with 2 extra days for way cheaper than undercover tourists! We won't be using one of the days but we do have some time on our arrival day so we'll be going to Epcot for the evening!

You can't use the extra day to hop, but the sixth day to add on normally costs about $3 and you are getting it free. I would just use it to get in for that partial day:thumbsup2since it isn't costing you anything anyway.

A base ticket is one major (theme) park per day. You are allowed to re-enter the same park if you leave it on one day, but it can only be used at the one park.

Note that the ticket will state on it either "Not Valid For Park Hopping" or "One Theme Park Per Day". That should be a hint.

If you put the ticket in the turnstile of another park the display on the Guest side of the turnstile will be "ACCESS DENIED". The top line of the display on the Greeter side will give information about the ticket, and the second line of the display will say "CROSSOVER NOT PERMITTED". The turnstile will not unlock.

This is because Disney charges $3.00 per day over four days on a ticket, but charges $52 to allow hopping. It does not make economic sense for Disney to allow this.

If you actually have multiple tickets (more than one physical ticket per person) as opposed to multiple day tickets, you can use these tickets for multiple entries. But it makes absolutely no economic sense as a separate ticket costs a lot more than adding hopping to a ticket.

nope- no matter how many days are on your tickets, it will only allow you to enter one park, per day.

Use it on your arrival day, its always nice to just go into a park (we like to do MK or Epcot), soak up some atmosphere and see the fireworks. Sometimes we don't ride anything, but there is nothing like being in the park when its your first day/night and knowing the magic is just beginning.

If you don't use it, nothing gained but nothing lost either!

Someone mention looking on orlandoattractions.com for tickets because they may be cheaper...

I have priced tickets on several tickets places including AAA, Disney itself, undecovertourist, orlandoattractions and few others. Undercovertourist by far as the cheapest tickets. Tax is included directly included in the price and they dont charge for shipping.

6 days parkhopper is 269.95 for an adult and 231.95 for a child. So for my 3 children and myself it is only $965.80

AAA was 1104.52
Disney was 1105.15
Orlandosttractions was around the same as well.

Just thought I would share

I think it may just depend on what plan you get because what we bought on Orlando Attractions saved us about $30. Tax is included and it's free shipping. $30 may not seem like much but to a family of two who lives virtually paycheck to paycheck, it is!

Actually, the best price I found was at Kissimmee guest services - for two 5 day base tiks it was $447.76 (including tax/shipping $10) (also - used the Allears discount -4%)

I got ours at undercovertourist.com w/ the extra mousesavers (newsletter only) discount (3%) for $451.90 - paid $4 for the copies they provide and their easy to return policy. Plus more people seem to use them - so for a few extra bucks - no biggie. Plus we got the free extra day -so really a wash!

I didn't have the tickets in my hand to read them - as I am sure once I did - I would have seen the no hopper allowed - but, thanks for the replies! :thumbsup2

We may or may not use the extra ticket - we have a 2 1/2 yr old so all will depend on our travel day with him... not going to spoil our real first day at the park for a few hours the night before...

Shop around for ticket prices and search for those discount codes!! it all adds up!

Right now, Undercover tourist is running about $285.95 for a 6 day hopper. OrlandoAttractions is about $279.95. I know we bought one (6 day hopper) for about $266 but that was with the Mousesavers discount.
