Tickets vs magic bands

First time .org to Disney World and not staying on property. Do I just use my ticket card to get in the park since magic bands are not given?

Yes, you can pay for magic bands if you want, but the ticket will work just fine. They do a finger print scan and you tap your card and your finger for entry after the first time.

If you have old magic bands they'll work too but yes just tap you ticket for park entry, fastpasses and ride photos (where available).
