what/where is the cheapest place to buy water park tickets? I am a DVC member and have an AP.

If you are going for more than 1 day you might as well upgrade your AP to a PAP and then you will have unlimited access to the water parks and the DTD attractions.

Actually, 2-3 days is when it becomes advantageous to upgrade your AP to a PAP. If you only plan on going to the water parks for one day in your AP period then keep the regular AP.

I'm not sure what the AP discount is at the water parks, but your DVC membership will get you $4 off per adult ticket and $3 off per child ticket.

Can you purchase the tickets at the resort or do we need to get them at the water park?

As far as I know, you can purchase them at your resorts concierge desk in the lobby. At least I've purchased PI tickets there, and would assume water park tickets could be purchased, also.

Another option might be one year when you might not really need an AP, to buy non-expiring hopper tickets with Water Park and More added. Undercover Tourist has great deals on these. You get a matching number of water park days to the number of park days you buy. Since the days never expire, you could have water park days for years to come when you have regular APs.
