My daughter, 15, is totally obsessed with Monty Python and Spamalot. She was bouncing off the walls last night when I told her I went online and managed to get four tickets to Spamalot for this August. I searched until I could get good seats, and I ended up with Row A in the Mezzanine! Excellent!

Daughter has discovered Monty Python through her older brother and sister, and she thinks all the movies, especially the Holy Grail, are just hysterical. I think she listens to the soundtrack from Spamalot continuously! She even talked her brother into buying the entire boxed set of Monty Python shows and they watch some every night. :rotfl2:

Has anyone here seen Spamalot on Broadway? What did you think of it?

My husband took my 16 yr. old daughter to the pre-Broadway run here in Chicago. They absolutely LOVED it. I am not a Monty Python fan, so I skipped it, but they thought it was one of the best musicals they have ever seen.

I think the cast is different now though. I do remember that the guy who played Frasier Crane's brother on Frasier was in it when they saw it, and also someone else famous whose name is now escaping me... :confused3

We went last July (Me, DH, DS16 & DS10) & saw it in NYC....It was a blast! We were really lucky to get tickets & we got a really good deal on them too! Have fun!

David Hyde Pierce was in the cast, and is it Tim Curry you're thinking of?

I saw it on Broadway twice because it was so hilariously funny.

If she is a fan of Monty Python, she will love, love, love it. I practically rolled around in the aisle laughing.

Yes, I have a feeling she's going to love the show. She listens to the soundtrack all the time and knows every song on it. She can't wait to see the actual show! :)

She even has several ringtones on her cell phone set to Monty Python music. :rotfl:

If you run into Hank Azaria after the show, can you ask him to marry me? :)

Will do! BTW, I love the pictures of your kitty. He looks like our kitty, Henry. :)
