We're a party of 7 adults going in July staying at SSR. 4 of us are regulars and 3 are 1st timers. We will be in the parks 4 days, no hopping. For the 1st timers, it's easy, purchasing 4 day tickets. But for my 2 daughters, they only each need a one day ticket because they have 3 unused days left on old non-expiring tickets. There's 2 different one day ticket. One is for MK ONLY and the cheaper ($8) is ONLY good at HS, EP, and AK. Here's where I need a firm answer. All tickets will be accessed through Magic Bands, so will the system know which ticket to choose? In other words, will this one day ticket foul things up in any way? We will be going to all 4 parks. I don't think it does but want to be sure.

How much are the days on the NE tickets worth to you? A 4-day ticket is $325 while a one day ticket is ~$100. It might be more cost-effective to buy a new ticket and save the NE tickets for later.

I'm not interested in saving money down the road so please don't factor cost savings into the equation. I'm just looking for a firm answer to the question posed. Does the system know which ticket to use as you enter a particular park I guess is what it boils down to. If it matters, our order of parks will be AK, MK,HS,EP. So on day 2 at the MK will the system know not to pull the ticket that is AK, HS, EP only?

For your specific case, purchase the one-day AK Ticket and prioritize it at Guest Relations/Ticket Window so that it is used first.

That's the only way you'll be assured of using that one-day ticket and not the NE ticket.

@TheBigErn ~ Actually, don't worry about wasting time prioritizing.

The system will pull from the appropriate entitlements. With the way your park schedule is set up, you'd only have a problem if MK were your last park.

Because it's Park#2, you can forego the prioritizing.
