Has anyone bought and used tickets through the entertainment book? My family has tickets but I need to get tickets for my MIL, niece and her daughter. Entertainment.com has buy a 3 day PH get 2 days free. I guess I am just afraid of tickets from any source other than Disney World. I would be horrified if I bought them and we got there and there was an issue.

Never used the Enterainment book.

But just so you know - the difference between a 3 day and a 5 day MYW ticket is $9 ($233 vs. $242). Hopping costs an additional $50 no matter what length of ticket you have. So you would be looking at $283 for a 5 day hopper, given the Entertainment book offer.

Many DISers use Undercover Tourist for discounted tickets, and if you sign up for the Mousesavers newsletter (comes on the 15th of each month), there's usually a link to get an additional small discount.

Looks like UT currently has a 5 or 6 day MYW with hopping ticket for $286, a 3 or 4 day hopper for $282. A difference of $4. This doesn't take into account the additional discount thru Mousesavers.

The cost for one adult 5 day PH through the EB is $267.00.
I am just wondering if it is actual Disney Ticket media or is it something special from them?

Not doubting you - I don't have an Entertainment book - but how can it be $267 if it's buy 3 get 2 free given the prices I quoted above. That's definitely a bigger discount than buy 3 get 2 free.

I don't know but here is what i am seeing on the 3 sites.

On Disney's site for 1 adult 5 day park hopper:

5 Day Ticket $56.00 $49.40 $280.00

On UT.com

Park Hopper (5 day) - plus extra 1 days free SAVE $11 off (Adult) gate price $286.95

On entertainment.com

ADULT 3-Day Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper® Option
SPECIAL OFFER: 2 EXTRA DAYS FREE (5 - Day Ticket)

Special Offer Value: $298.20
Info: 2 FREE EXTRA DAYS! Value includes tax
YOUR PRICE: $267.00
*Taxes & fees will be calculated at checkout

ADULT (ages 10 & above): 3 Days (WITH 2 EXTRA DAYS FREE for a total of 5-Days) of Unlimited Admissions to ALL 4 Disney Theme Parks: Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ & Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park with the Freedom to visit all of these parks and places on the same day (park hopping), use of Walt Disney World® Transportation and expires 14 days after the first day of use.

I just want to know if I need to worry about the ticket. I am a person who usually only buys from WDW but my MIL would like the discount if she can get it. I have never bought from UT or through my EB and honestly I probably would not buy from them if it was for me.

They are most likely normal tickets.

FYI, with the Mousesavers link to UCT, you can get the 5 day hopper (with one day extra) for $ 279.95.

(also, tax is NOT included with the WDW price, until you go view the shopping cart)

What's driving me batty is that I cannot find the WDW tix on entertainment.com at all. Where is it?

I can't either. OP, where did you find WDW tickets on entertainment.com? I've looked all over and either I'm overlooking it or maybe its just specific to your area?:confused3

The current gate price, including tax, for an adult five day hopper is $298.20.

My question is what do you have to do to get his ticket? Is it by mail/phone, do you have to turn it it at a specific location (if so, where)? Do you have to go or contact a specific ticket agency?

I know that we would not accept such a coupon at a WDW ticket office.

From mousesavers -- (and it's only about Disneyland)

If you purchase a 2010 Entertainment Book, you can access a private web site that offers discounts on Disneyland multi-day tickets. Unfortunately the "taxes and fees" that are added on to the ticket prices later in the ordering process are really high. ARES has better total prices on 3-, 4- and 5-Day Park Hoppers, but it seems as if the 2-Day Park Hoppers for Southern California residents are a good deal through the Entertainment site. To access the private site, register your Entertainment Book online, then log in and click on the "Events & Attractions" tab.

So most of us would not be able to see the offer the OP is seeing with her registered Entertainment book. But I did some searching online before I realized that and I couldn't find a single reference to Walt Disney WORLD discount tix thru the Entertainment book, only Disneyland.

If it works like most Entertainment book things, you send in your money and they mail you the tickets (that's how it works for movie tickets) -- in response to CF's comment.

If that price includes tax, I would buy for sure. That is a good price. It's actually about $2 less than my convention 5-day hopper.

It is all online. when you go to check out it says:
you can have them shipped UPS which cost $8.95, delivered to your hotel which costs $11.50 or pick them up for free at the office 1 mile from WDW.

By the time you add the tax and shipping cost the total for all the tickets is a $35 savings over the price on WDW web site

I just noticed that through entertainment.com it does take you to a site called MemberDeals.com so I think you have to have a book and a log in to see it.
Try this link:

http://memberdeals.com/entertainment/pages.php?sub=wdw

Weird...I do have a login and I'm an entertainment.com member (print dining coupons A LOT) but I still can't get any Disney deals to come up. The only thing "Disney" it shows me is the Movie Club, Disney Cruise Line and Disney.com. I go to the link you put up, (Member Deals) and then it asks me to log in, which I do. Then it takes me to the member home page and I look for Disney. I look in Orlando. I look in Events & Attractions, Movie Tickets, everywhere. Its not on my page. Maybe it is area specific or something. I think I'll shoot them an e-mail and see if they can tell me anything.

Thanks for the info though! :goodvibes

So back to your original question (LOL) -- bottom line - if it's cheaper than Disney, cheaper than UT, and includes everything - I'd do it.

If it was a wash with UT - or even a few dollars less actually - I'd probably pick UT instead because I know so many people that have had great experiences with them.

On the orlando page for attractions there is a tab for theme parks etc. I think it defaults to the tab for theatre and museums or something. But if you click the other tab it will show you the disney stuff. It does not exactly stand out.

I FINALLY found it! Unfortunately, after all that looking, UT is cheaper for the 7 day hoppers by about $15 (using the Mousesavers discount). I didn't check the prices on the 5 day hoppers. But I think its AWESOME that entertainment.com is offering deals on WDW tickets! I wish they would offer a 1 day/1 park Universal discounted ticket too. I only need ONE of those for my son (we have 2 free passes from My Coke Rewards). And I hate paying $75 for a one day ticket for him.:sad2:
