Tickets Through Airmiles Expiration?

Hi there,
I have enough miles for some WDW tickets through airmiles. However, we aren't planning on going for a couple years yet. Does anyone know if these tickets expire? I looked all over the website and could not see if they expire from when you get them.

WDW tickets do not have a good for dates. (Just the 14 days from first use)
DL tickets do.

Airmiles has had specials on WDW tickets in the past so if you are not in a rush you may want to see if they come up again. Of course you do risk that the number of points rises.

I think the OP meant if she orders the tickets from AirMiles, how long does she have before they expire.

Meaning, if she gets them in Jan 2012, can she use them when they go to Disney in 2013, 2014, 2015 - or is she stuck with tickets that have to be used by the end of 2012.

When we get Africian Lion Safari tickets through AirMiles, they are only good for that season. Ie, when we got them for peak (summer) season this past year, they were only good for the summer/peak of 2011. We could not use them in 2012.

Both helpful but yes, I did mean I I get them today could I use them in 2 years. on the airmiles seaworld tix it has an expiration but nohing shows for WDW.

They expired 14 days after the first day they are used. So if you don't use the first day for 5 years, they will expire in 5 yrs and 14 days.

I think you might have to phone AirMiles and ask one of their employees. It doesn't look like anyone knows the answer. I'm kind of curious myself now.

Maybe I wasn't clear because I thought ABCanada and I both answered the question.
If you get tickets now you can keep them forever there is no expiration date on WDW tickets (even if you get them through airmiles). But once you have activated the ticket by using the first day be it tomorrow or 10 years from now, then you have 14 days till it expires (unless you pay for no expiration of course).

So buy it today, use it whenever you like but once you start to use it, the rest of the days have to be used in the next 14 days.
