I have always done "package trips" in the past. Last year we decided to get Annual Passes for me, DH, DD. We are now planning a trip with our two adult DD's (that we did not get AP's for because they can't go on most of our trips), two of their friends, and letting our younger DD bring a friend.

So, in short... 3 AP's and 5 that will need tickets. The only way to be able to select FP at the 60 day mark will be to book through Disney and do a package...correct? But what about our 3 AP's...do they allow for that?

And, to complicate things...we are DVC members and were hoping to use points...just worried about the ticket/FP issue?

Any advice???
TIA
Bridget

The only things that are necessary to book FPs 60 days in advance are an onsite reservation and tickets. You don't have to book through Disney, you don't have to book a package, it doesn't matter if you're DVC staying on points.

You just need to have them listed on the ressie and purchase tickets before the 60 day mark. You can save some money by buying tickets through Undercover Tourist (probably over $100 for 5 tickets depending what tickets you get)...you will have to link them manually to your MDE account though...it's easy. They will link automatically if you buy them online from Disney if you have an MDE account set up. You can add and manage everyone on yours or they can have their own MDE accounts.
