Buying two Unlimited Admission Universal tickets for the $86.98 online purchase rate.

PRINT AT HOME:
Says tickets will be on 8.5 x 11 inch printout and need picture ID and credit card to enter park.

... 1. Is this a one time requirement or do the picture ID and credit card have to be shown every time we enter the park?

... 2. If both have to be shown on every entry, how will my wife be able to enter the park without me with our friends since she won't have my credit card?

... 3. For folks who used the print at home option, did you wish you had done the electronic pickup option instead for the wallet sized tickets?

ELECTRONIC PICKUP:
Says need confirmation number and credit card used to print the tickets from the vending machine.

... 4. When entering the parks every day, is just this ticket needed? If so, then it would negate the problem of item-2 above.

Thanks,

Choose the electronic pickup.

You go to a clearly marked kiosk and swipe your credit card (the one used to purchase tickets online). You will need to enter your confirmation number, so you will have to carry a printout from home up to that point. Your park tickets will then print out. Normal sized tickets. The kind that fit in a wallet. You do this only once and have real tickets in hand from that point forward.

Everyone that chooses the print from home option complains about having to carry the 8 x 10 paper around, folded up, getting it wet and it not scanning, etc.

Hi Tricia,

That was a fast reply! Really good info and exactly what we needed to know. We'll go with the electronic pickup.

Thanks!

I wish I remembered which I did! My printout is at home, so I don't remember if it's the actual ticket or the electronic thing. Is there a way to swap the print at home ticket for a "real" ticket once you get there?

If you took the paper tickets to Guest Services, they might exchange them for you. I would hate to walk around with a large sheet of paper as my ticket too.

we had the print at home deal for this past june and you just take them to guest services and they issue you a ticket and we had no problem except for ds 11 and that was everytime we tried to enter the parks it rejected his ticket but they were nice and just let him go on through.:dance3:

I remember a thread started a few months ago by some guy that was... let's say "angry"... for lack of a more polite term... because he was given some grief for exchanging his print at home tickets for traditional park tickets. Obviously he rubbed a TM the wrong way and got a speech about how people should read the ticket options online before they complete their purchase and yadda, yadda. They did exchange his tickets, but he was still miffed enough to come back here and complain about it.

From the tone of that thread, this was not a particularly nice fella. If they exchanged the tickets for him, I would think they would exchange them for anyone. ;)
