Tickets not showing in MDE

We have a trip planned for Jan 2 - Jan 6. Reservations and 3 day (group and convention) tickets were obtained through a travel agent. When I first linked them to MDE everything showed up fine. The next day I started getting "We're sorry. We encountered a problem retrieving one or more of your tickets. Please try again later." I can see the tickets on the app but they say there is 1 day of admission left. I called Disney last week and they said they could see the tickets. She said she would escalate the problem and it should be fixed in 24 hours or to call back. Of course it isn't fixed. The person I spoke to today said that this is a know problem with these kinds of tickets and she can see the tickets and it doesn't matter that I can't. Both people I talked to said that I should still be able to make FP's when the time comes even if I can't see the tickets. Has anyone not been able to see their tickets and been able to make FP's?

This is a short surprise birthday trip for my grandson to celebrate his 14th birthday at Disney. I don't want any problems!

Yes, I'm getting the same error. My tickets were never displayed. I checked with the CM at Disney, and they told me that Disney booked the trip as a room only. I'm in the process of checking this out with my TA. I'll let you know if this is the issue and if it gets resolved. I have a lot of faith that my TA will get it corrected. :surfweb:

I am also getting an error on my Aug reservation booked through a TA. They were there for about a month & disappeared today... Only an error message on the site. I can see them on the app though...

According to my TA, it's happening to all kinds of packages so it isn't just the ones booked through the TA. Regular Magic Your Way packages are having the same issue, but it seems random. It isn't happening to everyone across the board. My Disney Experience seems to be having issues these days. I'm sure the tech support will address the issue and have it resolved. :surfweb:

Cool!

I couldn't see them on the website either.

Checked my app, and there they are!

Just feels nicer knowing they are somewhere.

Be careful if you register more than one ticket per person on MDE! I registered a 5-day MYW ticket several months ago for my December trip. I later booked a quickie 2-day trip for late September to see Off Kilter one last time, so I registered my 10-day non-expiring park hopper that I intended to use. I also made Fastpass+ reservations online, and my ticket and fastpasses worked fine in September. However, when I booked fastpasses last week for the December trip, only my 10-day park hopper was listed. I called Disney about it, and it turns out that even though I swiped my 10-day ticket last month - the system took the 2 days off my 5-day ticket that was at home! Because that wasn't a non-expiring ticket - it eventually expired after 14 days! Guest Services resolved the issue a few days ago by issuing me a new 5-day MYE ticket that I will pick-up from Will Call when I arrive in December. However, had I not checked the status of my tickets last week, and tried to use the 5-day ticket at a park in December - it would've been declined, and I would've been REALLY pissed!

This is good to know. I have an upcoming trip and I can see the tickets. The one for next year I can see them on the app but not on the MDE website. Since that trip is like 10 months away I was not worrying about it now. If this issue continues in the next couple of months then I'll check with my TA.

For those that can see them on the app, are the days remaining on the ticket correct? Mine are not. They say 1 day remaining on a 6 day ticket...

Were the 5-day tickets paid for yet?

This worries me as I have PH tix for BC for Aug & base tix for March at POR. The base tix will be paid for in March, but not the PH. Still I'm worried my PH will be used.
IT told me today that the system is intuitive enough to know which tickets to use, but I'm not so sure I trust that...

Yes, my 5-day ticket was purchased a year ago. I was told that the system uses the ticket on "top" - and my 5-day ticket was registered first. However, I exchanged a paper 10-day ticket that I bought in 2009 for the plastic one that could be scanned when I arrived. You'd THINK that using a 10-day ticket would be a clue that the 5-day shouldn't be debited! In fact - the system also took one day off my 10-day park hopper when I park hopped on my 2nd day - since the MYW ticket that the system thought I used can't be used at more than one park per day.

When I return in December, I'll make sure to check that the right ticket was debited as I enter a park on my first day.

Thanks for clarifying. I think I'll check at GS right after entering our first park too, & check which ticket was used, just for peace of mind.

I had my tickets disappear between 62 days (when I last checked) and the morning my FP window opened! I was both angry and beside myself in frustration.
I called tech support when it opened and the CM was first dismissive and then said maybe I didn`t link them right but it was a FD package so totally done on Disney`s side. It took about 20p minutes but they finally got them linked... I was just made to miss the FP window (we`re going at Christmas so time was essential) and that the CM passed the buck.

I hope everyone gets their tickets sorted out but verify before FP opens so you can ensure less stress in booking!

I just checked mine for our September trip and our tickets aren't showing as well, and I also booked through a TA. :badpc:

I'm sure it's going to take some time to get fixed. Being a Programmer/Analyst, I know some times the programs aren't a quick fix. But I do keep checking everyday. It is funny how like some others, my tickets do appear on my phone app.

I am having multiple issues with our tickets in My Disney Experience, too.
  1. When I login to MDE using any web browser and choose "My Reservations and Tickets" I see this error: We're sorry. We encountered a problem retrieving one or more of your tickets. Please try again later.
  2. If I choose "FastPass+", then the new FastPass+ button I see my name with an error that says: Valid Park Admission Required
  3. So then I click the "get set up to access FastPass+ service." (The link is broken and you have to replace the "wdw-stage" in the URL with "disneyworld" to get it to work.) I go through the planning steps, confirm my reservations and get to a page that says, "We see that you and 2 Guests on your Family & Friends list have tickets, and are ready to make FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance!" That should say 60 days in advance!
  4. On the MDE app I see the "08-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket - Groups & Conventions" but if I click on it I see "1 day of admission remaining."
  5. FastPass+ on the app shows "Needs Park Admission" but when I try to "Link a Disney Resort Room with Tickets" and enter our confirmation number the app says, "This reservation is already linked to an account."

Out trip is not until next August but I sure hope Disney fixes these issues before our 60 day FP+ window. If they're not fixed by our 180 ADR window I'll be calling Disney.

So far, My Disney Experience sucks!

I emailed my TA. She confirmed it was a system wide problem and they aren't giving any dates as to when it will be fixed. But I do still have tickets...So that's a plus. Thankfully I have a while before my fastpass reservations need to be made.

We have a trip booked through a TA. We're having the same problems with the tickets only showing one day valid admission on the app and the "We're sorry..." msg. on the website. Called group reservations and they said it was a known problem and the system was undergoing "magical" enhancements. I was told to keep checking and it should be corrected soon.

So I just logged into my account and 2 of the children have all their fast passes wiped out? Anyone know how this could have happened.

Ugh, not cool at all! I would call them ASAP to check on the status. :surfweb:

Thanks for the update. I'm having this issue for my next year trip but not the one coming up next month. I'm basically checking daily now to make sure everything is ok for my upcoming trip.
