Tickets - MDE or have to turn in at Guest Relations?

A friend is travelling with me in April. I have AP so I'm not used to dealing with tickets. We have an AP discounted room, so she bought her tickets from Disney separately. It says they will mail them to her. However when I look on MDE the tickets are linked and she will be getting a magic band, so are the "paper tickets" they are mailing just a back up in case her band doesn't work or are we going to have to stand in line at Guest Relations to get them added to her magic band?

The tickets are already linked to MDE and with her MagicBand, your friend is good to go. The MagicBand provides the link to the tickets when you are at the entrance tapstiles. The MB is only a link; it doesn't hold any info - all info is in the MDE account.

I think the OP is onsite so, 60 days prior for FPs.
