Tickets MB Split Stay ... will this work?

In March 2017, we will be cruising out of Cape Canaveral (not with Disney as the sail dates didn't work with our spring break), but I can't be that close to Dis and not go... so here is my plan, will this work or should be book another way?

Planning to book package 2 nights with 5 days ticket/park hopper.

We will arrive Sat morning, stay sat/sun night and depart for Cape Monday late morning for a 4pm Sail. (Plan to be in parks for at least a few hours sat, sun, and mon with scheduled FPs)

Our cruise return Friday early AM, so plan is to depart Cape and head back to parks on Friday. I would like to stay on property (room only reservation for one night)

My question is, will our magic bands from our original package reservation work for Friday/Sat park entry after our return? (We are well within the 14 day window, and we will only have used 3 of 5 days)

I am not concerned with making FP for the second part of our trip.

Any suggestions/advice appreciated. Thanks!

Yes. MBs remain active for all future trips and remain linked to MDE where all your data is stored.

You'll need to book FPs for Stay #2 60 days prior to that check-in date.

You'll also get magic bands with the room only stay which will also work (unless you opt not to get them) and you can pick different colours to match to different outfits
