I need to purchase our tickets for our May trip today from UT. I saw that the hard copy tickets have a refund policy and the electronic tickets do not. Other than that-is there any reason why I should chose one option over the other? We will be staying onsite and have magic bands. TIA!

If you actually input the hard tickets (ticket numbers) into your MDX account, there is no longer a refund offered.

And, you won't be able to "lose" the E-tickets like you can the hard tickets (before you input them into MCX.)
If you think that would be a rarity, you haven't spent enough time on these boards! ;)

My logic was the e-tickets being an easier option but I figured there must be some reason why they mail out hard tickets still and this is the place to ask!! So, the hard ticket option just gives you a scrapbook souvenir? :)

That and, if you don't input into MDX, you can return to UT for a refund, minus processing fees.

Also, if you aren't staying onsite you have no magic band unless you buy one, so with an electronic ticket you would have to go to will call or a ticket booth to get a physical ticket, so having it .ailed saves a step there, but if you have a magic band this isn't an issue.
