We have booked Cirque du Soleil with Virgin and have a voucher with details of the performance date and time and seat numbers but it says we need to speak to rep at welcome meeting to pick these up. I really do not want to waste my time at the welcome meeting - is there anyone who has experience of this? Can I collect from Virgin office? In fact I bet I could just take to the box office and get?

Please help if you know.

Thanks.

I would try the box office first - usually Virgin give vouchers which you need to exchange anyway, not the real tickets.

Only thing is the box office opens I think at 10.00am so by then you might as well have gone to the Virgin welcome meeting just round the corner.

We have always booked direct with the box office on the first morning after we arrive and always been able to get good tickets for a show later in the week.

:smooth:

Not sure about whether you can get them from the box office but you could just go into the beginning of the welcome meet, tell them what your collecting and say you are meeting friends in 5 minutes and would appreciate it if they could just deal with your request before they start their talk. It worked for us when we had to purchase DTD tickets for the luggage collection (not that you have to do this now if you fly with Virgin as I believe they are free of charge) :flower:

Right first of all - the box office will not give you your tickets, nor will the virgin office (if you can find it open!) - the reps hold them. We made the first mistake and never turned up to the welcome meeting. The onlyway they would give us them is to attend a meeting. We stuck our heals in, and refused to go, but ended up chasing round the reps round loads of different disney resorts (which was actually quite nice!) trying to get the tickets. It was a major headache - and it was the only thing that we had cause for complaint with Virgin for. In the end, I rang and complained - rang again, and again, and in the end I demanded that the tickets be left at our resort front desk - they refused to do that as well, until I threatened to call the UK and then they dropped them off for us while we were out. Brilliant show though!

Oh dear this does not sound too good! That really annoys me because you've paid for them and I got Universal tickets thru Virgin so I think I've pain enough not to go to the welcome meet. Especially on my third WDW visit with them!

I will demand they get left at the reception or that they give them to us one morning. I may phone VH before we leave to let them know this.

I guess it kind of depends which rep you get as well.

Fingers and toes crossed.

The only other thing is to co-incide a visit to DTD towards the end of the welcome meeting and pick up your tickets then....

I know that next time, it's going to be easier to arrange tickets when you're there!

I think it was "easy" for them to drop the tickets off at the hotel becuase we were staying on Disney Property -

You will love the Cirque de Soleil - it is great!! And universal is good too.

You lucky thing!
