Tickets from Undercover Tourist lost in mail

I've used them twice with no problems. However, it is surprising that they would choose to use USPS reg 1st class mail for items that can be quite expensive. I doubt most people would object to spending $5 or whatever for a UPS or Fedex package. 1st class mail gets lost from time to time, and generally my experience is it's reliable but less so than the other alternatives.

From what I recall they used delivery confirmation, which gives about the same info as the tracking from the other companies. And those other companies lose/delay/misplace/send to the Bermuda Triangle packages just as often as the post office does!

UCT has their procedures, and they help people out.

UCT will take care of you. We've used them several times. One time I mistakenly input our street address wrong (transposed two numerals) and we had a substitute mail carrier who didn't deliver them. The package was returned to UCT. I called UCT after waiting the usual time and explained the problem; it was totally my fault (I looked at my order and figured out what happened). UCT sent a new package out before the old package got back to them.

I recently purchased something worth thousands (much like these tickets can cost for a large group) which was untraceable if stolen and paid $17 for registered mail delivery, only to arrive home to find that the carrier had just shoved it in my mailbox out at the street.

Cancel them and repurchase, no matter if it costs a little more. I'd also insist on non USPS delivery in the future. If they don't offer that, I'd pass.

Several shipping options are offered by UCT.

Please try not to worry. If you buy tickets from us, we will ensure you get into the parks.

The reissue process is simple and quick.

It is rare that tickets become misplaced/forgotten or missing, whether by the delivery service or even after successful delivery to the customer. Clearly delivery was the issue in this case.

When they do, the security procedures in place between Disney & ourselves work. We send out hundreds of thousands of tickets each year. The tiny % that get misplaced or lost do get reissued successfully with a minimum of fuss.

We are here to help, you will get into the parks.

Thank you

Thank you! I have called your office and have been assured UT will get us tickets. We are arriving on a Sat. and was offered the cell # of someone in your office in case we have a problem getting the tickets reissued at the parks.

Just to update. We went to customer service at Epcot on arrival day with the copy of the tickets from UT and had no problem getting the tickets reissued. UT was really wonderful about the whole thing as was the cast member at Epcot.
UT and Disney are great. I wish I could say the same about the US postal service.

You can also enter the ticket numbers into My Disney Experience and link them to your magic bands if staying onsite and you don't need the physical tickets.

Funny to see my old post from 2011. I just ordered new tickets and I'm tracking their progress in the mail. I hope this is not a bad omen!
