tickets from package deal???

I have purchased the package for two people and have two five day park hoppers (I did not purchase the no-expiration option)

Do I have to use my ticket... or can I save that ticket for a later trip and use an AP that I was thinking of purchasing???

I thought I read before that your tickets have to be activated, so if you are using an AP instead you should be able to hang on to them.

Another idea would be to use them towards a credit for your AP.

If I understand the new ticket system, you should be able to save your tickets forever and then once you use them for the FIRST time, the clock will start to tick and you will have 10 days to use it up, once those 10 days have passed the ticket will be invalid. So say you only use 4 of your 5 days, you would lose that 1 day if not used.

Hope I didn't confuse anyone.

Edited to add: I missed the part about you "thinking" of buying an AP, I believe that you can use your 5 day passes and apply them to the cost of an AP.
