Have you ever bought tickets from eBay? You can get some really good deals, but what exactly do you need to be mindful of?

Truth is, I would stay away from buying WDW tickets on eBay completely.
You have no way of knowing if they're partially used, in which case you wouldn't be able to use them since there would already be a biometric scan associated with them.
The ones that popped up in my sidebar were specifically stated to be unused, seller had 100% reviews. We looked at it last time, but were nervous about trying it. But I was wondering if anyone had ever had any luck.

Do you really want to sit around and worry about it for the next 17 months?
By the time you find out if they work it would likely be too late to file any sort of a dispute.
I never said I was going to do it. I'm merely asking if anyone ever has. We thought about it last time, decided not to. However, you can very easily find out if they're usable or not by a quick phone call to Disney, or plugging them into an MDE account, and have plenty of time to get your money back, if they weren't (*assuming you were buying them a few months in advance).
