we just "purchased" tickets on ebay for sea world and universal.

However, here's my concern. They said that it's through a time share thing where we pay $40 to get 4 tickets to each place and in exchange we listen to their 90 minute time share presentation. We've emailed a few of the people who have recently bought from them and they said they didn't even have to listen to the time share presentation that they just went and picked them up.

Have you guys ever done this? Is it too risky? I mean, $40 for 4 tickets is a good deal. So in all that's $80 for tickets to sea world and universal studios. The guy has all positive feedback. It's like at 300 I think.

I'm not sure I understand.... what did you have to buy on Ebay if it was a discount that you got by listening to a time share presentation?..................P

Can you pm me the auction..I only see one for 4 tickets to one place. Thanks....we have time to waste, next trip down.

So in all that's $80 for tickets to sea world and universal studios.

Ok, I found it..but, it says you can only buy one set..one set per married couple.

If they do make you do the time share, just remember - I believe Florida law requires that they do let you go after 90 minutes so don't let them drag it out.

We bought a set for Universal and a set for Sea World.

They emailed us and told us that we could either use them on two different trips or have one voucher sent to us in someone elses name. Like for me, i just used my maiden name.

I still don't understand (forgive me if I am having a "stupid" moment), but since when do you have to PAY to listen to a time share spiel?? I thought that most of the time share folks gave discount tickets for SOMETHING when you listen. So what is it you are buying?......................P

pjlla,

Most times where I've seen you get free tickets for a timeshare visit, it's usually just two tickets. In this case you're getting 4, so it's costing extra. In a sense, they're charing you $40 for 2 extra tickets, if you wnat to look it at that way.

Either way, $40 for over $200 worth of tickets is a deal! That is, if you make it thru the presentation alive and w/ your pocketbook intact. :p

I'm hoping it's a good deal. Of course there are always the chances of it being "crooked" but I feel I did receive enough emails from people who have purhcased from them to validate the tickets.

The thought of getting my tickets to US and Sea world for $80 blows my mind. that is going to save us alot of money and possibly allow us to get 5 day PHPs instead of the 3days were were budgeting

Like for me, i just used my maiden name.

When ever we do a time share, we have to show our drivers license. Is yours in your maiden name? I thought they were pretty clear, in that you could only get one deal. If you do have to take the tour (and I can't see why they would let you not do that), you would have to sit through two of them? I'll be interested in hearing what happens when you go to pick these up.

actually, yes my DL says my maiden name on it. So for us it works.

I won't sit through two time share presentations. I'd just very openly and honestly tell them I have no money and I'm here only for the tickets. They can either chose to waste their time on me or make me sit through it. I'm betting they'll just give me the tickets.
