Tickets for MVMCP on sale when??

Can anyone tell me typically when tickets go on sale for the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?
Im thinking April, but I could be wrong.
I will be in the world from November 26th to December 5th...Im hoping there will be a party during this time!!

My recollection is more in the summer. And I am very confident there will be a couple in that time period. When the time comes though, it will be well known here on the DIS. And a great party it always is too.

If my memory serves me, in 2002, I was able to order them in May....yep....just dug out my copy of Passporter..."ordered 5/22....received 5/29"!!

Can't wait to order the ones for THIS year!!

I will keep my eyes peeled for the post as to when they go on sale....
I have been to the party twice now, but I usually go later in December so I wasn't sure about the beginning of the month...and of course I couldn't remember when we bought the tickets!

LOL...you were posting at the same time as I was typing my response to Dan, so I thank you for the quick response also...
I was almost right....April...May...close!! LOL

Im a huge planner, so I like to know when I can start planning things, like when can I make my Priority seating, when can I buy my MVMCP tickets...LOL

I remember watching (and waiting!!) for the tickets to go on sale in 2002....I ordered them the FIRST day they became available! Didn't want to risk not being able to get the party I wanted!

Looks like we'll be there pretty close to the same time. I check in on Dec 2nd and leave the 11th. I use tourguide mike and it gives you a countdown and to when you can make which PS!!

Yes, we will be there 2 of the same days as you...since we leave the 5th (well 2 1/2 days)

I have always bought my tickets the day they come out too...I have been to MVMCP twice and MNSSHP once.

I also make my ressies for the Liberty Tree Tavern at the same time for the night of the party as those ressies go really quick!

I am planning our vacations for 2004 and we have been at WDW the last two years for Christmas and have attended the last MVMCP during each visit. In 2002 and 2003 the last party was the Friday before Christmas. Do you all think that that will hold true this year ? If so that would be December 17the and our trip would be December 17th - December 28, 2004. Let me know your thoughts.

We are planning to be in the world after Christmas - is MVMCP over before Christmas day? Is there anything special going on the week between Christmas and New Year's?? We've always gone to WDW during the summer or spring break, so I've never really paid attention to what's happening at Christmas time.

The MVMCP's end the week before Christmas.

I'm not too familiar with what might be going on after Christmas Day. Sorry.
