tickets for MNSSHP??

I though I remember reading somewhere on here that even though the party starts at 7pm you can get into the park as early as 4pm with just a ticket for the party(not a regular park ticket for that day). Just want to confirm this is correct as I will not have a regular park ticket for that day. If so I though we would use this day as some down time and swim with the kids(also make sure they get a good nap that afternoon). Has anyone done this? Thanks.

that't exactly what we do. we drive over and check in at the resort. we swim and have an early dinner. we get to the MK around 3:45 to get our tickets at will call. at the gate, they'll give you your wristband and trick or treat bags and instructions to go to tomorrowland at 6:00.

have fun. and yes, the separate ticket is just good for the event. don't blow a day off your hopper, you're going to be in the park late.

We've gotten in a little after 4 for the past 3 years without having to use our park hoppers, just our MNSSHP tix. However, we've always had our regular tickets with us, so it wouldn't have been an issue if they'd asked for them.

amyrennek - we are planning on doing the same, using the day as a down day and hitting the park around 4:00 PM. We are planning on going the 27th but I haven't ordered our tickets yet as we just decided to add MNSSHP (since Grandma said she would pay for all 11 of us). Is the disney web site the only place to order tickets or is there somewhere else? I actually need 13 tickets so I should probably order soon. Thanks for any information that will help.

I ordered our tickets online(we are going the 20th), not sure if that is the only place to get them or not. I do believe if they have any left over you can get them at the park day of the party but I wouldn't suggest waiting that long incase they are sold out. I don't know much but I would think with needing 13 tickets you might want to get them soon. I hear that the closser to halloween it is the bussier they are(at least the 27th is a weekday though). I've never been(to the Halloween party) and am so looking forward to this. With such a large group going sounds like you will be having tons of fun to!

In the past you have been able to enter the park at 4pm w/ only your MNSSHP ticket. Just remember that could change any year. Once the first party takes place this week we'll have a better idea of what to expect.

You can order online, over the phone and once you are down in Disney. That's it.
