I can't believe I didn't know you needed tickets. I thought you just got on line. So how fast do these tickets go?? Do I have to worry about not getting to see it?? Can you see it more than once in a day??? TIA.

lol, where DID you get THAT from.

I went in without a ticket.

:flower3: This is the closest to an embarrased face I could find. My guide book "Disneyland and Southern California with Families" says that you have to go to a ticket booth at Hollywood Backlot and get a ticket. This surprised me because I never heard this anywhere else. They made a point saying you couldn't just go you needed a ticket. :confused3 The guide book is from Frommers or Fodors I don't know which. I'm at work and left it at home. Its not like Uncle Vernon printed it from his basement.

Only visitors from NY need tickets. The rest of us just wait in line like cattle. If I'm writing these comments I really think I need to either get more sleep or make some coffee.:surfweb:

Yes, it sounds like Priority Seating. IMHO the "regular" seats are better b/c you get to see the Carpet Ride and the parades much better!

Hi, Twinglemum! I had to quick jump in this thread!! I was panicking, thinking there was so much more I needed to know QUICKLY!!

Some of the DLR books are so wrong. :headache: I had DH so psyched to do a DCA Segway tour that Passporter mentions......come to find out it does not exist.

Glad there are no tickets needed after all!!

I'm relieved too. Our trips are just around the corner. Its getting exciting.I'm starting to panick I picked the wrong hotel for our first 4 days. Second guessing myself. Its hard when you have no idea and go by the internet.

This thread had me worried for a minute, I'm all excited to see the Aladdin show and was worried I forgot to get tickets :scared1: :rotfl2:

Lives4Disney- your daughters are adorable in those American Girl dresses! Do they have the matching doll outfit, too?

Is your book an older one? A couple years ago, you could get Fast pass type tickets in order to be guaranteed for a certain performance. They stopped that practice though.

Twinglemum - I do the same second guessing EVERY trip we take anywhere. Isn't DLH your first hotel? I am booked at the DLH checking in March 28 and really really looking so much forward to that hotel - much more than when we were booked at GCH. :confused3 I have been so burned before by internet pics, though, LOL. We shall see.... There are so many Disers that love DLH, and that adds to my excitement - plus my favorite GF concierge CM LOVES the DLH best and that helps because she is an all things Disney nut! She also prefers DL to WDW. Go figure. I think (hope) we'll love it. No worries. :thumbsup2

Ilovestitch - Thanks for the nice words. :) As a matter of fact I bought Jess (which she had wanted for months) for DD7 for Xmas and the matching Chocolate Cherry dress & accessories, too. I thought she'd bring Jess to our WDW Xmas vacation and they'd be so cute in their matching outfits - but luggage space was limited and she chose to bring her 6 1/2 yr old raggy, well loved Build a Bear Dalmation instead. :rotfl: I don't think Jess has even worn the dress yet!

"Are you tawkin to me?"
Uh,oh. I think I better be good now. :scared1: Maybe I can hire some protection for my next visit. Wonder what Jack Sparrow costs per hour???:confused3

Back to reality, you will love the Aladdin show. It's one of our favorites - from any seat.
