If I understood the ticketbooth employee at the beginning of Sept, she said people staying on property can upgrade their tickets at the normal prices for however many nights. If I bought 1 day tickets, does this mean I could safely upgrade closer to our trip? We only spend a few days in the actual parks?

you don't get a discount on a 1 day pass - besides think she is talking about Disney prices - not the discount prices you get with others

go sign up for mousesavers.com - and get her email for undercovertourist

You can add additional days to your ticket or upgrade within 14 days of the first use of your ticket. For insyance, say a two day ticket is $150 and a one day ticket is $100, you could upgrade the one day ticket to a two day ticket for $50.

thank you both--we're very non-committal about tickets but want to get those magic bands :)

One more question--can you still get the non-expiring tickets from WDW or can you only get them from non-Disney vendors?

disney says they have the non-expiring - but online does not seem to agree

think you can at the parks. too late to help with the magic bands

The problem with the No Expire Option, which is why it does not show up on the web site, is people have been misunderstanding the expiration policy. They have been buying the NE tickets and then asking for refunds of the NE portion because of these misunderstandings.

If a person buys them over the phone, or at a ticket-selling location at WDW, the seller can discuss the option with the purchaser to make sure they don't buy what they don't need.

Those of us who sell tickets at WDW do not get a commission on sales (I wish, I wish!) and will work with the Guests to save them money.
