Tickets before and after cruise!

So we our yearly visitors to WDW, but this year we are doing our first Disney Cruise in November!! We will be flying in the day before our cruise. We have an early AM direct flight so we will be at the resort by 10:30 a.m. We want to spend the rest of the day at MK. My plan is to buy 5 days tickets with our first night reservations. We will then go on the cruise, and come back for four more days in the parks (and use the remaining days on our tickets).

Does anyone see any potential problems with this plan?? Also, those tickets would be tied to our original KTTW card, would they then be transferred over to our next room cards when we checked back in??

Just trying to think through all these logistics!! I've set up our ressie for our second stay at AOA so far but havent done the single night with the tickets yet.

1. Since you will be doing "room-only" reservations, just purchase your tickets separately from the reservation. That way they will be on their own card (not the KTTW) and you don't have to worry about it.

2. Make sure that it is 14 days or fewer from the first to last day of use of the tickets.
