Tickets At Work Question

I'm considering using "Tickets at Work" 3rd party vendor to purchase my tickets this trip, and had a question for anyone who's used them before. I see a lot of chatter on this board about undercover tourist, but Tickets at Work offers a cheaper 5 day hopper.

They offer E-ticket delivery as well as shipping of physical tickets. I'm confused by the language on their site. It seems like the etickets are just vouchers that you then have to redeem for the actual tickets once you're in the Orlando area. Can anyone confirm if this is the case, or if the etickets are actual tickets and I can add the number to MDE?

I read some reviews by searching on google. The reviews said that it was not what it was all cracked up to be.

I'm curious about TAW, too. I priced 5 day hoppers and it was $2 cheaper than UCT. It was their 3-day with TWO FREE DAYS!

I think the etix have a number for MDE, but, with time to spare, plan to get the physical ticket sent to me.

Unless I'm wrong about the price, and they can undercut UCT by a larger margin, I'll stick with UCT.

Be careful. Tickets at Work doesn't typically add the tax into their price when you first look at it. Then once you go to check out they add the tax which makes it like the same price as Disney's.

I checked the "final price" given at checkout, including tax. If I get the physical tickets there's an $8 shipping fee, making the total $12 cheaper than UCT for two adult five-day hoppers. I get that effectively $6 per ticket isn't much of a discount over UCT, but is there any reason NOT to use Tickets at Work if the total price is cheaper? Is UCT faster or more trustworthy or something else? We've only bought our tickets directly from Disney or in a AAA office before.

I purchased two 5-day park hopper tickets from Tickets at Work last summer. Total, including tax, was $654.82. These were the Special Offer where you buy a 3-day park hopper and get 2 days free. The actual tickets were mailed to me. Very easy process - I had no issues.

We have used Tickets at Work several times, both for e-tickets and the real tickets. They are totally reputable, perfectly safe to buy from. Have a great trip.

Absolutely not. I've bought through Tickets at Work before. I agree with pp that said they're very reputable. I just hate that they're supposed to give this great discount and it turns out to be only a few bucks in the end. :/ Disappointing.

last trip we used ticketsatwork. We paid for 3 day hopper & got 2 days free. I got e-ticket voucher & went to window to get actual tickets. That was back in December before Magic bands were so popular though.

I have gotten tix thru undercovertourist & they send actual tickets & you can link those with the #'s on the back of them I believe.

Good luck!

anyone get an e-ticket recently? Just wondering if they provide a confirmation that can be used to link in MDE or do you still have to go to the Will Call windown?

I did not get the E ticket. I had TAW ship our tickets to us. We got the 7 day Hopper WP&M... I didnt know about UT at the time so I did not price shop; however TAW vs Disney price difference seemed marginal.... My only complaint was that they sent two Minnie cards... not only did my BF felt funny with a "girls" card... but imagine if you had a group of 6; that could get confusing if you dont get magic bands and have a designated ticket holder.

Any update on this? Wondering if someone has purchased eticket from TAW or WorkingAdvantage and linked this to MDE ahead of the 60 day FP+ window.

Thanks!

I purchased tickets from Tickets At Work back in September and had absolutely no issues. I selected the E-tickets and a separate email that included the Disney confirmation number arrived the next morning. I was able to use the number to link the tickets on MDE.

There is no such thing as a "free" day on any Disney ticket; it is all Marketing Hype!

Whether you are buying a four day ticket with three free days, a five day ticket with two free days, a six day ticket with one free day, or a seven day ticket, all you are buying is a seven day ticket.

Disney wholesales out their tickets to authorized resellers, who are allowed to set any price they want on them. Some may only buy tickets with certain numbers of days, so they advertise free days.

I'm curious to know why people ticket shop and fuss about if the savings are minimal at best?

I'm from Australia and have only been once, just DH and I, and I booked through Dreams so got a MYW package (deluxe resort with room discount) and I couldn't imagine bothering for $6 per ticket, even if it was a family of 6.

Or are the saving much higher than $6 a ticket and I'm missing something?

One thing I haven't seen mentioned here is that UCT has special discounts through the Mousesavers newsletter. They are a bit cheap than UCT's regular prices. It's not awesome, but it's better than nothing.
