OK. Can you buy tickets at the gate for the next day? I am wondering if I'm going to be able to show up tues the 22nd and get a one day pass with my give a day thing for the next day to use. That's one of the days you can't use the free day for. I am curious if they will let me buy a ticket for the next day with it though. I'm thinking I should just go ahead and see if someone will talk to me from Disney at this point lol. I have a lot of questions.

My gut reaction is that they will not allow it, or else everyone would do it, thus defeating the purpose of the date restrictions in the first place. All the literature says you must use the voucher THAT DAY only. You CAN use it to apply to things like a multi-day ticket, or an annual pass, but I don't think you'll be able to do it for a one-day ticket.

When you say, "buy a ticket" do you mean redeem your voucher for your free ticket?

If so, no you cannot.

From the FAQ section of the promotion web site (I added the bold):

"Is there an expiration date for my free theme park ticket?

Yes. December 15, 2010 is the last day that you may redeem your voucher for your free ticket. Once your voucher is redeemed for one day admission to an applicable Disney Park, your ticket will be valid only on the day of redemption."

AND

"Once I redeem my voucher for a theme park ticket, do I have to use the ticket that same day?

Yes, once you redeem your voucher for a 1-day, 1-theme park ticket, the ticket must be used by you that same day."

You can (use to) buy a ticket at the 'booths' ahead of time. :confused3

Ok guys, I think, I'm clear about it. There's no need to get it that tues anyway, just thought it would be nice to go over and just have it done for the next day. They are always really fast about such matters at the gate anyway. I'm also pretty sure you can upgrade your one day tickets any time after you buy them that day to a multiple day parkhopper, it's not like you have to do it when you first get your day pass right? For WOC tickets though as soon as CA opens though....

You can upgrade any kind of ticket to any other kind of ticket (or multi-day pass / AP) anytime prior to the existing ticket expiring.

So, if you have a 1 day ticket, anytime before the Park closes on the day you use the ticket.

If you have a 3-day pass, anytime before the end of the third day.

And so on.....

WOC... no one knows anything as this has not been set-up, announced, or outlined yet.
