Tickets at the Gate-UIA

Hello,
We are arriving later in the day, like 2pm to Universal Islands of Adventure, to avoid the spring break morning crowds on a Monday, 4/2.

We were hoping by early afternoon, there won't be long lines at the ticket gate. (we do not plan to order get our tickets in advance, in other words) Is this a safe bet?

There always seem to be lines. Have you considered the print at home tickets or the kiosk pick up tickets that you can get online? Both are more convenient.

If you arrive that late and do not have your tickets in hand, be prepared for a wait. I can't tell you how long of a wait of course but it could be lengthy. You should consider purchasing the tickets ahead of time so you can do directly to the gates...not to mention it would save you a bit of money to do so.

How far in advance does one have to order Universal 1-day tickets for the kiosk? Can we do it day of or day before? We are staying at Disney and, although unlikely, our plans may change. Thanks.

i have ordered for kiosk pick up before and i believe tickets are available 24 hours (or sooner) after you order.
