Okay, I'm torn... 10/30 or 31? I know Halloween night will be the most crowded... but are we talking week between Christmas and New Years crowded, or just more crowded than the other nights?

I was originally looking at the 30th, but I have a feeling I'll be eating my heart out if I'm not there on Halloween!

Also, if I go ahead and buy tickets for the 31st, and decide later that I want both, the 30th won't sell out as early, will it?

We faced that decision last year but I decided how often can you celebrate Halloween in the MK?? So I went for it. Yes, it was the most crowded I've ever seen it (but I go off season) but lines especially for trick or treating went VERY fast. It's deceiving.

The atmosphere can't be beat. BUT this year Halloween falls on a Friday which may make it even more crowded...that could sway my opinion.

We went with the attitude of celebrating Halloween and not really going on rides and we accomplished what we wanted: trick or treating, Haunted Mansion ride, free photo, fireworks, and the parade. We did also go on Barnstormer twice with no wait!

Good luck!

No there is no discount except the 'advance purchase' discount...there used to be a Disney Club discount a few years ago ($1).

I believe you pick them up at Guest Services outside MK.

Question: I have never been to WDW for this Halloween party, can someone answer a couple of questions for me?

I will be there on October 3, last day for us but we weren't going to do the Disney thing this year just Universal so my question is this ticket that you buy for the Halloween party is that all you need to get in? or do you have to have a park hopper as well? Since we are only doing Universal and Sea World I wasn't going to buy Park Hoppers this year.

Thanks for the help.

If you arrive when the party starts at 7:00p that is all you need. If you arrive before 6:00p (when they close), they may or may not let you in.

Wooooo Hooooooo. I got my tickets for October 31st last night and so did one of my friends who is meeting my family and I there. Thanks soooo much for the heads up!!!

Ordered ours for the 31st! Now I just have to decide on a costume! As I'm a costume designer, my daughter has always had great costumes... I've not made one for me in a LONG time! DD will be going as Cinderella... and I'm thinking about a big piece of Candy corn for me!

Is the Halloween party? Is it more or less crowded than it is during the regular day at the park?
We would probably go 10/26. I don't want to spend even more money on tickets and then have to stand in a ton of lines.

I ordered my tickets for MNSSHP yesterday and asked about the LTT dinner add-on and the CRO stated well it's the first day, try tomorrow it might be in the system then so...
I called today regarding the LTT add-on and the CRO stated to me in no uncertain terms that it is was only 60 days before that I could make that PS. I said that last year I was able to order my MNSSHP tickets and the PS at the same time and he stated to me "well, I'm sure it was not in May". He then checked and stated that it is yet to be determined if they will offer the add-on. So, no new news on the LTT dinner add-on for MNSSHP. : (

I hear alot of people talking about a PS at the LTT the night of MNSSHP. Is there a reason that so many of you want to eat there? Is that the only restaurant that has dining around the time the park closes before the actual party starts? I'm just curious...we are going on the 26th as I said before and aren't sure where to dine.
THanks

It's because last year, for the first time, Disney let you make your PS at LTT right when you bought your MNSSHP & MVMCP tickets well before the 60 day mark. It was the only one booking that early.

But they do open other restaurants for the parties. I ate at Crystal Palace before MVMCP a couple of years ago but I booked that at the 60 day mark.

Many people also eat outside the park at the monorail resorts before the party.
