Tickets any good?

If I park on a double yellow line and don't get a ticket that does not mean I was in the right

What does this have to do with anything? I don't think anyone in their right mind would say it's Ok to park on a yellow line! This is a disney ticket were talking about, come on.

Well how about this.

I buy a 14 day ticket and have 3 days left. I give my ticket to my sister. My sister decides that 3 days is enough for her. Instead of her buying her own 3 day ticket she has used mine. Yes Disney has lost out on her ticket.

Firstly I don't think disney has any right to say how I should use my ticket, the only thing that should not be allowed is someone trying to use the ticket twice in one day, now that would be conning disney.

. As for your wedding I dont think this matters at all. I have paid god knows how much to Disney over the years, but that doesnt stop me from paying for my OWN tickets. I dont shout out saying I paid X, Y and Z to Disney, so I will share my tickets or anything else. Like I dont share any tips from Tour Guide Mike.

I dont think what I said was rude at all. Merley pointing out terms and conditions that are stated clearly on the tickets. I am quite surprised that this has not been argued before me considering this is one of the do not ask questions on the dis

I thought your comment was rude as you said if you can't afford tickets don't go! and I feel it was directed at those of us who told the OP that we felt it was OK to leave the tickets.
That is also why I made the statement about how much money I have spent with disney, as you seemed to think if you took someones tickets we couldn't afford to go

I merely said that as many of us have on these board spent thousand of $$ with disney and any saving we/our family's can get should be taken.
As Wayne said disney do try to screw everyone for every penny.

Take it how you like. At the end of the day I was not directing it to anyone on here. I am not going to battle my case any further. Its clear we both simply dont agree with each others opinions. As I said I am just going to agree to disagree. I wont be posting anymore on this subject. I have made my feelings and points very clear. If people want to take it out of context then thats totally fine. Make what you want of my reply. I know what I meant. I am sure all the dis people on here knows that I am not that kind of person who is rude. :goodvibes

Thanks for the comments Wayne - thought I was going to get flamed:sad1:

Your not getting flamed at all. People can see the good in what your doing. There is people including me as you can tell who doesnt agree with ticket sharing. Perhaps its the only child syndrome. I have not learnt to share :lmao:

If you have paid for the ticket, i feel that your welcome to do what ever you want with it. If some brought a 14 day ticket and someone used it for 7 and gave it to someone else for the next 7 its upto them, they had paid full price for their ticket.

Just a thought leaving it in your room is not the best option as the cleaners will totally clean out the rooms and not leave anything, best choice is to give it to someone.

Wow you would rather that your sister spent the extra money and Disney get it than give her your spare days and she use the money that she had saved to spend in Disney on something nice for herself? Hmmm ok. JMHO

To be honest I would rather give away the extra days than see them go to waste, the OP didn't want to resell them just do a good deed. I think the tickets should be non expiry like they always used to be and then you could take them home with you to use on another trip. IMO I know there are lots of ticket choices these days but rarely will you find one that fits in with your exact daily plans, you will either be a couple of days short or have too many days, therefore Disney get extra money out of you to A. buy a ticket with more days than you need cos you want to go to one extra park and B sting you for an additional $40 odd to make your ticket non expiring ( I am not sure of exact figures so don't quote me but it's along those lines) so who is missing out the most?? Not Disney me thinks! :confused3 Just my opinion though ( and we are entitled to those!)

ahem just ptting my flame retardant suit on.......;)

You buy the tickets on Disney's terms and conditions.
Disney's terms and conditions state they are not transferable.
You agree to those terms when you buy the tickets

Disneys tickets for 14 days are much cheaper than a 7 day ticket followed by a 7 day ticket. That is how they run their business.

To do otherwise, no matter how altruistic, breaks the contract you have entered into and is, in my opinion, dishonest.
