Tickets and Questions

I have a few questions.

First of all We are going for 8 days at wdw and 2 days at the water park. I was wondering if I should buy the water park and more option or not as we are only doing the water parks and only for 2 days. What is your input?

Also If I book a package from Disney do we get a discount or anything for going through them. I heard something about laneyards. I was just wondering?

Tickets per adult for 8 days are $226

Tickets for 8 days with water parks and other stuff are $280

One day pass to water park is $42

So it is cheaper to not buy them Ala carte.

Personally I would buy the Magic Your Way with Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More tickets at $327 per adult. I can't see not being able to Hop.
