tickets and keys questions

A couple questions:
If I become a member, do we generally buy park tix at check in and have them added to our key? Can you buy them online and have them added to the key.

Also, if I called today and purchased membership, when is the soonest I could book, assuming I want to book for January and my use year is, say, December.

I'm not familiar with park admissions being on the room key other than the old "length of stay" passes. I can't speak to the Magic My Way tickets, but Annual Passes are a separate card and don't go on the room keys.

If you want to book for January, 2007 the earliest anyone can book at their home resort would be 11 months prior to that in February, 2006. Or you can book at any DVC resort at the 7 months mark which would be this month.

So, assuming you purchased today and your trip is scheduled to be completed by January 15, you could make a reservation as soon as you get them the deposit.

FYI - If you purchased SSR today from Disney, your use year would be February.

I don't know the answer to your admission tickets question, but am curious too, so am looking forward to reading others' answers. We went in May at stayed 5 nights at CBR, but only purchased 4-day hopper tickets, they were added onto our room key, so we did not have separate tickets. However, we paid cash at CBR, and I don't know how it works at DVC resorts and when you are traveling on points.

I can only speak for last summer. Me and my wife wanted to get the ultimate park hopper passes, but they didn't have them anymore. We couldnt' get tickets on our key cards. We bought annual passes so if they changed anything I wouldn't know. Now that our AP's are about to expire I'm waiting to see if someone could shed some light on this subject. Thanks in advance

Being that I'm posting after 5 pm if you called tommorrow AM and gave them a deposit ,then tomorrow afternoon or morning after depending on when You call ,you should be able to call MS and make a ressie
