Ok so I am going to universal for a day in September.... In light of recent price increases, I have started researching different money saving methods. Now my question is. Can I buy express pass from universal online, and buy my park hopper tickets from AAA? I would save a considerable amount of money doing this. Thanks for any help

You might want to consider purchasing the park tickets from Undercover Tourist since they are a little cheaper most of the time. It depends on how many days you're going to visit...one day tickets are very expensive and the discount is laughable.

I would recommend waiting until you arrive before purchasing EPs...they are date/park specific and non-refundable. You should wait until you've personally seen the wait times before spending the money...you may not need them. There are no discounts for EPs.

I have a feeling we are going to need express pass to get all the rides we want to get done, done. 1 day both parks, tough to do without it.

Maybe but maybe you can get away with only buying the one park EP instead of the two park. September isn't usually crowded so you might be able to do everything you want in one park w/o an EP but would need one in the other park to finish up.

True. Thanks for the info.
