Ticketmaster - Best Seats?

On ticketmaster, there is an option that shows 'Best Seats'. Generally speaking, how good is the 'best seat' option? Im trying to buy tickets to a show at a venue that Im not familiar with. I have no idea what seats are good or not good, since i've never been to this venue. Simply relying on ticketmaster's 'best seat' option. Is this the way to go, or is there some other strategy?

If you search around the ticketmaster site you should be able to click on the name of the venue and see a map with the stage set up the artist will be using. Then you can see what kind of vantage point you want.

I like to see the seat map of what’s available. Their definition of “Best Seats” and mine frequently don’t coincide.
