Shipping has been free for atleast the past 2 years. I think it is a gimmack they use. I ordered our tickets almost a year out 2 years ago for the same reason and when I started looking at tickets for this trip (in 40 days!! 
) I noticed the same free shipping (even to Canada, which is amazing)
