Ticketless Travel Funds & Ebay

I had an auction up on Ebay for Ticketless Travel Funds I had from a credit from my trip a few weeks ago. They took off my auction saying it violated Ebay & SW rules. BTW, I have a 100% rating. I made sure I stated everything correctly..how to redeem, when they expire, etc. I made sure it said Ticketless Travel Funds. Please correct me if I am wrong but I know these are transferable and it also doesn't say on SW polices that they can't be sold. Now "Vouchers" can't be and these are different.

Has anyone had a problem with this? I emailed to see how I should list it, and was told that Vouchers aren't allowed to be sold and how it violates both Co.'s policies, but it's not a "Voucher."

I can't use the $75 credit by 2/08/09 either. ANy recommendations?

Others have posted about this same problem. Try a search on the Dis to see what they did.

I sold my ticketless funds on ebay within the past year and didn't have a problem. I am not sure why there seems to be a problem now.

SW says the credits can't be sold and ebay agrees. There have been a couple of recent threads. You can do a search on DIS, I think a poster printed the reply from ebay.

Best choice is to find a friend or relative that can use the credits. Next best choice may be to list it as "buy it now". Price it 80-90% of face, look at recent auctions. List it on a weekend and hope it sells before the auction is pulled.

SW knows some credits wind up going unused. That's one of the reasons they can afford to be generous with their credit policy.

I had mine taken down with no reason, all fees from listing reversed. I changed the wording and relisted... They sold. I have done this 3 times. You can also try Craigslist?

I tried to list and relist mine using the exact wording of people that sold. Mine got pulled. Though others were posting at the same time that they listed with Buy it Now and they sold and weren't pulled. It seems to be the luck of the draw. I never got my fees reversed from ebay though with the pulled listings.

My auction was up for 6 days (it was a 7 day auction)before they pulled it. I actually worded mine after another that did sell. Go figure. I don't want to mess with my 100% rating so I am going to see if someone else can use it. What I do not get is tht on SW's policies site, it doesn't state that Ticketless Travel Funds can't be sold..only the vouchers. They are transferable as the SW agent told me..maybe it's Ebay's policy, but it doesn't say anything on Southwest.com
