I was wondering . . .

If I wanted to buy tickets with NO hopper, but I am interested in hopping for 2 days only, would it make more sense to add a couple days' tickets to my package so that I can hop two times during my vacation instead of adding the hopper option to the whole 7 days.

Last time we went, we didn't hop at all, but we had the hopper option (free at the time).

Am I right, or am I missing something? Thanks for your input!! :sunny:

Sorry, but you CAN'T do this.

A non-hopper will not allow you to go into a second (or third) park on the same day by "using up" another "day" from that ticket.

You MUST buy the Hopper option to Hop.

It is only a single price for use on ALL days of the ticket, not a "per day" cost.

Yes, you are missing something. You can't hop without a hopper.

If you try to use your non-hopper pass to enter more than one park on a given day, the CM's display will indicate that and you will be directed to Guest Services to add on the hopper option.

Oh, so they won't look at it as using two days' tickets in one day?

I'm not trying to stir things up.

Could I add the hopper option for only 2 days? :goodvibes

No, they won't.

And, technically, I guess it's how you want to look at it. The Hopper option costs, I think, $45 plus tax, no matter how many days your base ticket is for, and no matter how many days are left on the base pass.

So, if you have a one day base pass and add the hopper option, it's costing you $45 per day to hop.
If you have a ten day base pass and add the hopper option on the tenth day, it's costing $45 per hopping day.
If you have a ten day base pass and add the hopper option on the first day, it costs you $4.50 per hopping-eligible day.

Well, yes and no.

But as I said, it is a ONE-PRICE add-on per TICKET.
Not per DAY.

So it would cost about $45 TOTAL to add it to all 9 days of a 9-day ticket.
And it would cost about $45 TOTAL to add it to all 4 days of a 4-day ticket.
And it would cost about $45 TOTAL to add it to the final 2 days of a 5-day ticket.
And it would cost about $45 TOTAL to add it to the 1 day of a 1-day ticket.

Thank you both for your replies . . . I think I've got in now :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
