Ticketed meet and greets

This question came up on my cruise meet page (on another site) so I thought I would ask the wise brain trust here. For our upcoming cruise I was only able to snag 1 ticket for the Frozen meet and greet. I put it in my daughter's name. They were otherwise completely sold out online. I had ASSumed that they would let me or mom my accompany my daughter to the meet and greet. She would be the only one getting a photo. Is that the case or are they only going to let 1 person get in the line because we only have 1 ticket?

I would only count on 1 being allowed in the line. When my parents and I did it on the Magic last year, they were taking tickets and counting the people with the number of tickets.

I would keep checking and then check on board because I would not count on them allowing anyone else in line.

I agree it is one person per ticket, and unlike the Princess M&G the frozen one is usually off in a restaurant so its not like you can be nearby without a ticket. However, I think you will end up being fine. As @Dug720 said, keep checking on line, and then they release more tickets once you board. Your first daily Navigator will tell you where to go to request them on board. Then as a last resort, go with her to her time. When we were there they had received a number of no shows (remember, these tickets have no cost, so sometimes people just don't show up) and so they were handing out extra tickets at the time.

People can also return tickets once on board. Our neighbors had booked Marvel M&G tickets for us on our last cruise, but my DD wasn't interested, so we returned them to Guest Services for somebody else to use. So it doesn't hurt to keep checking there as well, after you board.

When we were on the Wonder last week, there was a cast member checking off passengets from a list they had showing each person in your cabin that was supposed to have a ticket.

We only got two tickets to the Frozen meet & greet on the Wonder, because it only made sense for one of us to take DD5. DH walked over to Animator's Palette with us anyway, then went to hand off DD's autograph book (he is its official keeper) and go get a drink in the lounge. The ticket attendant saw that he was leaving, and said, "Oh, he can go with you." I noted that we didn't have a ticket for him, but the ticket attendant said he could hang out with us anyway.

I am not saying this is a replicable experience, I am merely stating what happened to us.

I would suggest to keep checking online. A week before the cruise more blocks of tickets are released online. I was able to book all of our meet and greets and character breakfasts for 5 people.

We are 9 days out, nothing today but I will look again in a few days, thanks :)
