Ticketed event at end of evening?

Hello,
I haven't been to Disney in many years. I'm looking at the park calendar hours and some evenings have a "ticketed event" at the end of the evening. Is this something that you purchase a special ticket for in order to attend? Or is this what they are talking about for guests staying at deluxe resorts? I am looking at the end of January.

Could be a Disney After Hours event, which are separate ticketed events. Check to see if the dates coincide with any of those posted on the WDW website. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/magic-kingdom-after-hours/

Ticket events required a separate paid ticket. Deluxe evening hours will just say so.
