Ticket ?

I need to purchase tickets for our trip next month. My DD always liked the convenience of having her ticket on her KTTW card. I'm assuming that this is no longer available. Can anyone confirm this? If this is the case, I will definitely purchase tickets in advance to save a little $$.

You can still purchase tickets at the resort at check in and have them put on your room card. You won't get the advanced purchase discount though.

Is this only the case if you purchase them from Disney, or can you also do this if you purchase them thru another source, such as Ticketmania?

I had asked the CM when I made our reservations for May the same question.
He put me on hold to ask. According to him, if I bought the tickets over the phone then while making my reservation, they STILL would not be able to put them on my room key. He said I would have to pick them up at will-call.

I'm guessing, that if this is correct, that the way to get them on your room key is if you purchase an actual package????

I was planning on going to the Disney store as a result of what I was told.

Has anyone had any actual experience with room only reservations, and ordering the tickets ahead of time?

MaryJ: You can purchase them anywhere now and have them encoded onto your resort ID. Read http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=793217 for a post from someone who did it.

disneydebi: I'm sorry to tell you that once again a DRC CM gave you incorrect information. Don't be surprised. Happens all the time. Most will call tickets can be picked up at the resorts now so it's very easy to put them on the resort ID. And the ones that can't (except for AP/PAP/SP) can be picked up from Guest Relations and brought to the resort's Guest Services/Lobby Concierge and be encoded to the ID there.
