So I won this ticket through the NBC affiliate program back in March. They actually sent me a real ticket, not a voucher. I also won the Superbowl contest and have voucher for that. I'd like to use the voucher to get my ticket and then have my son use the one that is a real ticket. It does not have a name on it. I know technically the tickets are non-transferable, but would that work? Hopefully, I will not get flamed for asking:scared:

nah, we are laid back in these forums. most of the homies in the darkside play nice with others.

flaming is not the style here.
some might make a comment about the rules but we haven't had many new threads about the won passes for awhile.

what you are asking though might aggravate some people.
the regular posters here usually don't get into nit picking for the most part.

not everyone that entered the SB contest won the passes.

i do understand that the ones that won a second pass would be using it for another family member. every little bit helps in cuting back expenses during the economic times we are having.

there were two contests going on.

looks like you won a pass in both of them.

the voucher is the one from the SB contest.
the real ticket might have ccome from the local contest some cities were having.

you have to show id for the voucher to get the one pass.

the other one, i don't know what the rules were for that one.

i would believe that the two contests had separate rules.
as long as you are the one using the voucher pass, i can't see an issue with the second one.

we didn't have the second chance contest in chicago area that i am aware of.
if there was one, i must have been having a blonde moment at the time.

i know.
i'm no help with your question.

You can give your NBC ticket to your son. It won't be a problem. As far as the Super Bowl ticket, we have had several people who were told they could give it to a traveling companion and other people were asked to sign the ticket immediately after redeeming the voucher and told that it cannot be given away.

So I would use the SuperBowl ticket yourself and give the other ticket to your son. Congratulations on your winnings!

Yes, I hate that everyone that entered didn't win. I did enter both thinking I wouldn't win either and then won both. I already planned on going, so at least I am not wasting mine. I know some people are really upset that people entered the contest and are not even planning to use them.

BTW, my local affiliate was not participating either, so I just entered the one closest to us. I used my real address and information, but still won. If they do a similar contest, just enter the one closest to you.

I figure I'll try to have my son use the ticket and I'll use the voucher. If worst comes to worst, I'll just buy him a ticket. Thanks for the info!

I'm hoping to redeem my SB voucher this weekend and give to a friend going with us. Its worth a shot before he makes a purchase. :thumbsup2

I won 2 NBC tickets and I had a superbowl ticket. When I got the NBC tickets I was not sure if it was a scam because I forgot about entering it. I faxed a copy of them to Universal and they called me back the next day saying they were real tickets. I asked them if the tickets were attatched to a name and he said no, that I could use them or give them away. Since I already had a superbowl ticket, my husband and 1 son will use the NBC ones, and I just have to buy my 4 yr old a ticket!

Cool, that's what I wanted to hear. I don't want to have to buy a ticket when I have this one already. Thanks!
