Ticket Usage Question

Hubby and I are contemplating adding a quick night at MK on an upcoming trip to Orlando with our son. We are mostly there for a non-Disney cruise, but if our flight is on time, no major hassles at the airport etc., we'd able to get enough hours in with EMH to justify the cost of the ticket. (We are staying on property for the one night). My question is this. If I buy 3 one day MK tickets, attach them to my MDE profile, use them to make FP+'s etc. so fully integrate them into our travel plan and we aren't able to get to MK because of any number of things that are possible on a travel day, are they still good until we can use them? Maybe in several months or a year? We'd be keeping the hotel reservation, but wouldn't use the tickets.

We are committed to this plan, but so much of the timing of that day would be out of control. We just wanted to see what our options would be.

It depends on the ticket I thought some had expiration dates on them. I would ask a CM when you purchase them and phone to purchase them maybe so you can ask?

One Day ticket prices are based on the park you want to visit and the date because there are now Value, Regular and Peak Day prices. If you buy the tickets and cannot use it on your planned day it will remain valid until Dec 31, 2017. If it was originally a Value Day ticket and the day you have decided to use the ticket is a Peak Day you will have to pay the difference in price. If you do not use the ticket by Dec 31, 2017 the value of the ticket will be applied towards the cost of a new ticket.
