Ticket upgrade

I *think* I have read online that you can upgrade tickets once you get to Disneyland - for example if you have a 3day pass you can pay the diff and get a 4 day pass - does anyone know if this is true for the Military companion tickets that they currently have available? It is a 3 day hopper.. we will probably be in by 11 am on the day of arrrival and it would be nice to upgrade to a 4 day if possible.

yes, you can upgrade to a 4 day hopper, but you would loose any discount with the military ticket.
For example, if your military 3 day cost $100
a regular 3 day cost $130
a regular 4 day cost $150

So in this example you would pay the difference between $100 and $150

What about to upgrade from 3 to 4 day if I got the everyone pays kids' prices originally? Would the upgrade be regular price diff. or kids' price difference?
